Grandfather in WWI

Military Authority Member

Hello: This is my post to your Miliary community. I didn't find a category that fit my info, so I just selected "Support for your spouse/family? I have recently acquired 3 patches that belonged to my maternal grandfather from WW1. My mother tells me he was stationed in Italy with the Ambulance Corps. I would like to know more about his division, rank and what these patches stand for. I have one picture of him with several buddies standing in front of an ambulance. One of the patches does have AAS on it.

My grandfather passed away at age 59 in 1954, so I never had the chance to talk to him about his military service. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Will try to post pictures of the patches from WWI. I'm mot too computer savvy, but will give it a try.
