My husband is in afghanistan he is trying to get leave to be home with me.The commander says their will be expenses that i will be respocible for.Is this true?? OR is this not my husband.Please i need some information about this thanks Lisa

I have talked to a veteran he said when military is on active duty the only way he can take leave is if someone that is a relative is critically ill in the U.S. then they may take leave for only 30 days.or three months whatever the case maybe.Now if the soldier is below a major he may take a 1049 and transfer to a different location.I have learned to be real careful because anyone can have access to many different military forms here on the internet
