Ranger Scholarships

The National Ranger Memorial Foundation (NRMF) and the Ranger Battalions Association of WWII are offering a total of 49 scholarships of $1000 each. These scholarships are for those “who dedicate themselves to the Ranger Creed” as well as for those who are descendants of World War II-era Rangers. The website does not define either one of these terms in explicit detail.

Applications are accepted from January 1st to June 1st of each year. Applicants may be high school seniors or undergraduates who are enrolled (or accepted to) a state-accredited two- or four-year educational or technical institution/college. Additional requirements include:

  • An online application form, which includes several short answer (not essay) questions
  • A minimum of 3.0 grade point average
  • Official transcripts from your last educational institution
  • And two letters of referral

Scholarship checks are made out directly to the student’s educational institution. If you have additional questions, contact the organization at rangermemorial@gmail.com or 706-687-0906.
